Sensation is the Language of the Body
Sensation is the Language of the Body
I have spent the last several decades of my life cultivating my ability to listen, understand, and respond to what the body is telling me, concretely, not metaphorically. Aches, pains, stiffness, clunkiness, soreness, tenderness, weakness.  Ease vs. restriction of motion. These are the body’s ways of calling out, pointing to areas that need attention, and like any conversation, an appropriate response changes everything. I have seen and experienced this extensively in my own body and other people’s bodies.

I have also seen over and over again the body’s messages being ignored, dismissed, or misinterpreted. I don’t have all the answers, but being on this path has been a very worthwhile, rich journey and given me a wealth of wisdom about the body and addressing the problems our bodies are trying to show us.

If you have problems you would like to address, if you would like to regain the ease of motion you used to feel or attend to those nagging body complaints that have crept up, call me to see about working together.
